PM Modi introduced a series of development projects in Jammu and Kashmir, unveiling initiatives totaling ₹32,000 crore aimed at fostering progress across various sectors. The projects, encompassing areas like health, education, transportation, energy, and civic infrastructure, signify a concerted effort to propel the region towards comprehensive development. During the event, PM Modi inaugurated the first Electric Train in the valley and launched the train service between Sangaldan station and Baramulla station, marking a significant milestone in enhancing connectivity and transportation efficiency.

Additionally, the commissioning of the Banihal-Khari-Sumber-Sangaldan section, equipped with Ballast Less Track (BLT) technology, promises an enhanced riding experience for passengers, further contributing to the region's infrastructural advancement.

“I have full faith in you and we will make 'Viksit Jammu and Kashmir.' Your dreams of 70 years will be fulfilled by Modi in the coming years,” he said.“Because of the abrogation of Article 370, I have asked people to help BJP win 370 seats and NDA win 400 seats in elections,” he said.

Addressing the gathering, PM Modi reiterated his unwavering commitment to the development of Jammu and Kashmir, underscoring the region's immense potential and affirming his resolve to realize the aspirations of its people through the vision of 'Viksit Jammu and Kashmir'. He cited the now-repealed Article 370 as a primary impediment to the region's progress, highlighting the transformative impact of its abrogation on fostering overall development. Joined by Jammu and Kashmir Lt Governor Manoj Sinha, Union minister Jitendra Singh, and other prominent leaders, PM Modi's initiatives underscore the government's concerted efforts to usher in a new era of growth and prosperity in the region.
